Goals

Ciljevi održivog razvoja Goals Ziele NVO CEORA

Non-government organisation Center for education development and affirmation (NGO CEDA) to accomplish vision and mision works in accordance with next goals :

  • Acting and working towards educating the population in various fields, such as education for sustainable development, health, healthy lifestyles, proper nutrition, nature conservation, family strengthening, general culture, etiquette, democracy, social and economic development, entrepreneurship, business skills development,
  • Development and promotion of upbringing and education, lifelong learning, non-institutional upbringing and education, encouragement of creativity and creativity,
  • Promoting peace and peacebuilding, volunteering, social solidarity and good governance,
  • Civil society development,
  • Advocacy for raising and developing environmental awareness and advocacy for environmental protection,
  • Local community development,
  • Promotion of tolerance,
  • Promotion of gender equality,
  • Fight against all forms of discrimination,
  • Support for initiatives leading to environmental, social and general community development,
  • Promoting cooperation between all three sectors of society: public administration, business sector and non-profit sector,
  • Social cohesion, integration and social inclusion of all citizens,
  • Encouraging citizens to participate in social life,
  • Focusing work on programs, initiatives and campaigns aimed at promoting the principles of sustainable development and a healthy environment,
  • Work on improving communication between civil society organizations and - establishing successful models of cooperation,
  • Internationalization of ideas and projects dealt with by the NGO CEORA, especially cooperation with related non-governmental organizations and projects in the world

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

Non-government organisation Center for Education Development and Affirmation (NGO CEDA) in work informes about Agenda 2030 and contributes to implementation of Sustainable development goals – SDGs, by realising projects in areas of work.

Sustainable development goals are:

  • Goal 16. Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
  • Goal 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
